Day 1. 16 OCTOBER WEDNESDAY / MIAMI / ROME
Departure from Miami to Rome. International Flight Included
Day 2. 17 OCTOBER THURSDAY / ROME
Welcome. Transfer to hotel and free time. You will receive in the afternoon information for the start of your circuit, or, through the informative signs located in the hotel reception
Day 3.18 OCTOBER FRIDAY / ROME (breakfast)
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy this beautiful city. Accommodation.
Day 4.19 OCTOBER SATURDAY / ROME (breakfast)
We include a panoramic visit during which you will have an introduction to the eternal city. We finish in San Pedro del Vaticano where you can visit the basilica and the museums. In the evening we include a transfer to Trastevere, a lively neighborhood of the city known for its typical small restaurants
Day 5.20 OCTOBER SUNDAY / ROME (breakfast)
Day off. Today we suggest an optional excursion to Naples, Capri and Pompeii.
Day 6.21 OCTOBER MONDAY / ROME, FLORENCE (breakfast)
We travel to the capital of Tuscany: FLORENCE, upon arrival, after a stop at the Mirador de Miguel Angel, we include a panoramic tour of the city to see its main points of interest. In the afternoon we recommend visiting its famous street markets. Florence is one of the most recommended Italian cities to do your shopping or visit one of its important museums.
Day 7.22 OCTUBRE TUESDAY / FLORENCE, PISA, CINQUE TERRE, GENOVA (breakfast)
We travel to PISA, we include a tourist train from the tourist parking lot to move to the monumental site or Campo de los Milagros where the popular Leaning Tower is located. After that, we will visit the COSTA LIGUR, which presents some of the most beautiful maritime corners of Europe. CINQUE TERRE has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, five populations almost isolated by road that live on fishing and tourism. Given the difficulties of access by road, we arrive by train, including the ticket to VERNAZZA, which preserves its marine citadel aspect. It emphasizes its church of Sta Margarita built in 1318 on the seashore. Time to have lunch We continue by train to LEVANTO where the bus awaits us to continue to GENOA. Its center reminds us that it was a thriving republic in the Middle Ages. Note: The train to Cinque Terre is a regular commuter service, it is not a tourist service. Sometimes the trains travel full since the reservation of seats in these trains is not possible, so the trip without seat -in foot could have to be made in some cases.
Day 8. 23 OCTOBER WEDNESDAY / GENOVA, PORTOFINO, MILAN (breakfast)
We travel to the next city of RAPALLO, where we embark towards PORTOFINO, one of the most exclusive places in Europe, beautiful walk by the sea and free time. After lunch we continue to MILAN, the active northern city where we recommend you visit the cathedral. Note: For weather reasons or during the winter, sometimes the boat to Portofino does not operate, in those cases it must be accessed by urban buses (deficient quality of service, sometimes long waits).
Day 9.24 OCTOBER THURSDAY / MILAN, REGION OF LOS LAGOS, VERONA (breakfast)
We know today one of the most beautiful landscape areas in Europe: the Italian lakes region: We travel first to LAKE DE ORTA, in ORTA DE SAN GIULIO we find ourselves in a medieval city that remains intact. We include the train ride to get closer to the center of the medieval town and the boat to the ISLA DE SAN GIULIO, small island of the lake with monastery. After that we continue to LAGO MAGGIORE, on its shores we stop at STRESSA, from here we can know if you want optionally the Borromean Islands, highlights ISOLA BELLA with its gardens and palace (closed in winter). Time to have lunch After lunch we continue to VERONA.
Day 10.25 OCTOBER FRIDAY / VERONA, VENICE (breakfast)
We will have a time to know the city of Romeo and Juliet. Later we went to VENICE – Arrived about 13 h-. We include transfer by boat to the area of the Plaza de San Marcos where we make a visit with a local guide on foot through the city of the canals. You can also admire the work on Murano glass. Later free time a gondola ride. Accommodation in the Mestre area.
DAY 11.26 OCTOBER SATURDAY / VENICE, PADOVA, SAN MARINO, GUBBIO, PERUGIA (breakfast)
We will go to PADOVA, destination of many pilgrims, where we know the Basilica of the Saint. Later we travel to the Adriatic coast where we know: San Marino, small independent country on top of a heavily fortified mountain. Time to have lunch We continue our route between beautiful mountain landscapes crossing the Apennines to GUBBIO, a marvelously preserved small town, highlighting the Palace of the Consuls and the 12th century cathedral. We continue to PERUGIA.
DAY 12.27 OCTOBER SUNDAY / PERUGIA, ASIS, ROME, NAPLES (breakfast)
PERUGIA is a historical city also known for being the city of chocolate, we will meet you with a local guide, we climb the mobile ramps that cross the rocky rock and we will be surprised by visiting its squares and stone streets. After that we travel to ASÍS where we have time to have lunch and to know the Basilica of SAN FRANCISCO. In the afternoon we travel to the south of Italy (sometimes I pass through Rome to leave travelers). NAPLES, arrival at the end of the afternoon.
Day 13. 28 OCTOBER MONDAY / NAPLES, CAPRI, SORRENTO, SALERNO (breakfast, dinner)
Free time for NAPOLES before boarding; boat ride included to CAPRI ISLAND; If you wish you can take the boat to the Blue Grotto or the funicular to Capri capital. After lunch we embark again, we continue to SORRENTO, a town full of charm and tourist life at the foot of the cliff. Time to walk We continue to the Gulf of Salerno. Dinner included and accommodation in SALERNO.
Day 14. 29 OCTUBRE MARTES / SALERNO, POMPEYA, CASSINO, CASTELGANDOLFO,
We go to POMPEYA, where you can admire the remains of this Roman city that was covered by the ashes of Vesuvius (guided tour, entrance to the enclosure not included). After lunch, continuing to CASSINO, you can visit the immense abbey; In this place one of the toughest battles of the Second World War took place. During our return, in a beautiful area of lakes we know CASTELGANDOLFO, a medieval village that belongs to the VATICAN, where the Pope’s summer residence is located. Continue to ROMA. Arrival at the end of the afternoon.
Day 15. 30 OCTOBER WEDNESDAY / ROME
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport back home.
